Melissa grew up in North Carolina and came to know Christ at a young age. She knew she had a call of serving God in her teenage years. After graduating from Appalachian State University in 2015, Melissa has taught music education in Raleigh, North Carolina. She is excited to start this new season as a teacher at Nicaragua Christian Academy International. While in Nicaragua, she will continue to serve in the local churches and live out the calling the Lord has placed on her heart. She truly believes this is a dream come true and cannot wait to see how God uses her in Managua, Nicaragua.
