Patti Sue, after 20+ years in the US Army, has been serving in Ecuador since 2000 first distributing wheelchairs for Joni & Friends and then founding a home for abandoned, abused and special needs children in the southeastern Amazon rainforest. Casa de Fe has been rescuing at risk children since 2005 and has cared for over 550 children to date.
Patti Sue lives in Ecuador with her 11 year old son.
