What an honor and a privilege it is to have various platforms to share the gospel and what God is accomplishing through our team with TRKK ministries! We have now added a podcast, Contagious Faith, to our platforms to share the gospel. We have a vision to impact the world for God’s glory through giving our lives to full-time international missions. You can find our podcast by searching: “Contagious Faith” in Google play or Apple Podcast (available on other markets and coming soon to Stitcher). In the podcast, we explore the various ways to apply the Bible in evangelism, discipleship, ministry, and day to day life. We want to be transparent in the joys and trials of transitioning to the mission field; and what the Watkins family and TRKK ministries is all about. We have already been amazed at God opening the doors for our family to move to Nicaragua. We are on track to move to Nicaragua in January provided that people continue to join our team and share in being a part of this ministry. It has been so much fun to share our hearts with our listeners in what God is teaching us. We like to keep it interesting by sharing funny stories, interviewing people, and sharing who we are personally. God is so good! What a joy it is to be a child of God! Our latest episode was centered on the importance of Discipleship and we interviewed one of the staff members at our home church First Baptist Jenks whose main role on staff is discipleship. We had a great time talking about what the Bible has to say about the importance of this topic and how to apply this to our lives and conversations.
The relationships that God puts in our lives are so important. We should never underestimate the importance of the people that God places in our life. We never know when we might move, or be called to heaven and not have the opportunity to share Christ with someone. Witnessing to and encouraging people in their faith is what this life is all about. If you are reading this and you don’t know the joy and hope that is found in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, I beg of you to seek someone who does.
