Missionaries in United States

The Palmers served for 30 years with the Southern Baptist International Mission Board in Honduras and Nicaragua as church planters. The last 15 years, they were instrumental in starting a church planting movement among the indigenous peoples of Central America. The Palmers now live in Athens, Texas and provide strategic direction and oversight for two mission networks. The NICA TEAM partners with indigenous peoples in Central America. The ETHIO TEAM partners with rural people groups in Ethiopia. These networks work with national churches in each country to carry out development ministries, church planting, and leadership training. The Palmers also mentor missionaries, helping them design cross-cultural ministries and strategic plans for church planting.
