Back in 2010, Jason proposed to Jessenia on one of Nicaragua's volcanoes. (It erupted a week later, but they had nothing to do with that.) They were married later that year. Soon after that, they moved to the US where Jason received his MDiv. at Fuller Theological Seminary and served as a youth pastor in a small church in eastern Oregon. After years of being away, they have returned to Nicaragua where Jason is now teaching high school English and Bible classes at Nicaragua Christian Academy. Jessenia and Jason are the proud parents of three children.
