Dan and Erika live in Managua and serve at Nicaragua Christian Academy International. Erika, the eldest daughter of MVI missionaries Eric and Marilyn Loftsgard, first moved to Managua when she was 9 and attended NCAI as a student before returning after college to become the 6th grade teacher. She is now no longer teaching but is home with their daughters, Verity and Juliet, and serving NCAI in other ways. Dan grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia before first moving down to teach at NCAI after college in 2013. They were married in the summer of 2019 and continue to live in Managua and serve at NCAI.
